Settings

The Settings section allows you to control how loyalty points, discounts, notifications, and the widget behave across your store.

• Go to Admin Dashboard → Apps → myCred Loyalty Points → Settings

You will see 4 tabs:

• General Settings
• Email
• Notifications
• Widget

General Settings

Configure how loyalty rules, discounts, and points behave.

Rule Priority (Conflict Resolution)

Select how the system handles multiple matching rules.

Dropdown options:

• Highest Points (Best for Customer) → applies rule with maximum points
• Lowest Points → applies the rule with minimum points
• Recently Updated Rule → applies the most recently updated rule
• Newest Rule → applies the latest created rule
• Oldest Rule → applies the earliest created rule

Rounding Method

Controls how points are rounded.

Dropdown options:

• Round Down → always lower value (10.9 → 10)
• Round Up → always higher value (10.1 → 11)
• Nearest Integer → closest number (10.5 → 11)

Discount Configuration

• Discount Prefix → e.g. REWARD_
• Discount Code Character Limit → set max length
• Restrict Coupon Usage with Other Coupons → prevent stacking

On Sale Products

• Exclude Points Earned on Sale Products
• Exclude Discount Coupon on Sale Products

On Order Refund

• Deduct Earned Points When Order is Refunded
• Reassign Redeemed Points When Order is Refunded

Points Expiry

• Enable expiration of points after inactivity

• Click on Save Changes.

Email

Manage email notifications sent to customers.

Enable Emails

• Toggle Status = Enabled

Email Types

• Points Earned
• Points Redeemed
• Birthday Reward
• Reward to Referred Customer
• Click Edit to configure each email.

Email Setup Fields

Banner Image

• Upload a banner image (max width: 600px, height: 200px).
• This will appear at the top of the email.

Available Points Text

• Define how available points are shown:
• Example: You have {available_points} points to use

Ways to Earn Text

• Example: More ways to earn

Redeem Rewards Text

• Example: More ways to redeem points

Email Content

Subject
Example:
You have Earned Points on {shop_page_name}

Message
Example:
You have earned {earned_points} points for {earned_rule_label}

Footer
Example:
Thank you for being a valued customer!

Preview

A live preview is shown at the bottom, including:

• Earned points message
• Available points
• Ways to earn section
• Ways to redeem section

Notifications

Control popup notifications that appear on the storefront when customers earn or redeem points.

Status

Enable or disable popup notifications.

• Enabled → Notifications will be shown on storefront
• Disabled → No popup will appear

Notification Appearance

Customize how the notification looks.

Notification Background Color

• Select the background color.
• Example: #0270FF
• This controls the main background color of the pop-up.

Notification Text Color

• Select the text color.
• Example: #FFFFFF
• This controls the text visibility inside the pop-up.
• Make sure it contrasts with the background color for readability.

Duration before notification is dismissed

• Set how long the notification stays visible.
• Don’t auto-dismiss
• 3 second
• 5 second
• 7 second
• 9 second
• After this time, the notification will automatically disappear.

Widget

Widget – Button Style

Customize the appearance and behavior of the floating rewards button shown on the storefront.

Button Color

Control the button’s visual colors.

Button Background Color

• Select the button’s background color.
• Example: #0270FF
• This defines the main color of the rewards button.

Button Text Color

• Select the text color displayed on the button.
• Example: #FFFFFF
• This controls the readability of the button label.
• Make sure it contrasts well with the background color.

Display Settings

Configure how the button content appears.

Button Text

• Enter the label text displayed on the button.
• Example: Rewards
• This is the text customers will see on the storefront button.

Display Type

Choose how the content is displayed inside the button:

• Icon and Text → Shows both icon and label
• Text Only → Shows only text
• Icon Only → Shows only icon

Button Shape

Choose the shape of the button:

• Circle → Fully rounded button
• Rounded → Slightly rounded corners
• Square → Sharp corner edges

Widget – Panel Style

Customize the design of the loyalty panel that opens when customers click the button.

Panel Colors

Control the overall appearance of the panel.

Panel Background Color

• Select the panel’s background color.
• Example: #0270FF
• This controls the main background of the loyalty panel.

Panel Text Color

• Select the text color inside the panel.
• Example: #000000
• This ensures content inside the panel is readable.

Panel Button Background Color

• Select the background color for buttons inside the panel.
• Example: #0270FF
• This applies to internal panel buttons like “Rewards” or “Ways to earn”.

Shape Customization

Define the visual style of different elements.

Button Shape

Choose the shape for buttons inside the panel:

• Circle
• Rounded
• Square

Panel Shape

Choose the overall panel container shape:

• Circle
• Rounded
• Square

Section Shape

Choose the shape of individual sections inside the panel:

• Circle
• Rounded
• Square
