Referral Points & Rewards

Reward customers for inviting new users and growing your store through referrals. Both the referring customer and the referred customer can earn rewards.

• Go to Admin Dashboard → Apps → myCred Loyalty Points & Reward.
• Click on Referral.

• Once you open this section, the Referral dashboard will be displayed.

Here you can view:

• Total Referrals
• Points Awarded
• Total Amount Discounted

Enable Referral Program

Toggle the Status to enable or disable the referral program.

• Enable – Referral program is active
• Disable – Referral program is inactive

Referral Rewards Configuration

Referring Customer Rewards

• Define the reward given to existing customers for successfully referring a friend.
• Click on Edit under Referring Customer Rewards.

• You will be redirected to the configuration page.

Referring Reward

Configure the reward details:

• Reward Type – Select reward type (e.g., Amount Discount)
• Reward Value – Enter value (e.g., $10)

Refer Labels

Customize how referral messages appear on the storefront:

• Refer Shop Page Label
  Example: Refer a friend and receive {reward_value} {reward_label} as reward
• Notification Banner Message (Standard Plan required)
  Example: You have received {reward_value} as reward for referring a friend

Referred Customer Rewards

• Define the reward for new customers who join via a referral link.
• Click on Edit under Referred Customer Rewards.
• You will be redirected to the configuration page.

Referral Redirection URL

Set the page where referred users will land after clicking the referral link.

• Default Behavior: Redirects to homepage
• You can update the Redirection URL if needed
• Example:
• https://your-store-url.com/

• Click Save to apply the settings.

Front-End Impact (Referral Points & Rewards)

• Go to the website.
• Log in to your account.
• On the storefront, you will see the Loyalty Widget.
• Click on the widget to open it.

Access Referral Section

• Inside the widget:
• Navigate to the Refer a Friend section.

You will see:

• Your Referral Link
• Option to Copy / Share the link

Sharing Referral

• Copy the referral link.
• Share it with your friends.

For Referred Customer

• Clicks on the referral link
• Gets redirected to the store (based on configured URL)
• Lands on the homepage
• Creates a new account (Sign Up)

Reward for Referred Customer

After successful signup:

• Reward is automatically applied (e.g., $10 off coupon)

Reward for Referring Customer

Once the referred user signs up using the referral link:

• Referring customer receives reward (e.g., $10 off coupon)
