The Donate Now app enables Shopify merchants to create and manage customizable donation campaigns that encourage customers to support charitable causes directly from the storefront. Merchants can create two campaign types: Campaign Donation Block and Round-Off Donations, each designed for different donation experiences. Campaigns can include preset donation amounts; optional custom donation amounts with configurable minimum and maximum limits; fundraising goals with live progress tracking; transaction fee contributions; campaign scheduling; branding; and customizable success messages. Using Shopify’s Theme Editor, merchants can add Donation Campaign, Donation Progress, and Donor Wall blocks anywhere on their storefront and fully customize their appearance to match the store’s branding. Customers can easily contribute to active campaigns, track fundraising progress, and view recent supporters, creating an engaging, seamless donation experience that doesn’t interrupt the shopping journey.
