Rules – Settings Overview

The Rules settings in the Smart Variant Table App allow you to define how product variants are displayed and managed in your store. From basic configurations, such as rule names, titles, and subtitles, to advanced options like variant icons, stock display, custom attributes, and add-to-cart actions, you can fully customize the shopping experience. Additional features like quantity selection modes, display styles (list or swatch/grid), and restrictions (minimum/maximum variants or quantities) give you complete control. Some advanced options are available under the Standard and Pro plans.

How to Add Rules

You can create and manage rules in two ways:

• From the main app dashboard – here you’ll find quick options like Create Rules (if available on your plan) and Manage Rules.

• From the dedicated Rules section – accessible from the left-side menu under Smart Variant Table > Rules.

• Now, navigate to the Rules section.

• Click on Create new rule button.

• Enter the required details under:

General Settings

• In this section, you define the basic identity and display text of your Rule.

Rule Name

• Internal name for the rule (visible only to you in the app).
• Helps you organize and identify different rules.
• Example: Shirt Variants Display

Title (store view)

• This title will appear above the Smart Variant Table on your storefront.
• It helps customers understand what the table represents.
• Example: Available Variants or Choose Your Shirt
• Show/Hide Toggle: You can choose to display or hide the Title on the storefront by enabling or disabling this toggle.

Subtitle (store view)

• Optional descriptive text shown below the Title.
• You can use it to add a short instruction or message for customers.
• Example: Select size, color, and quantity before adding to cart.
• Show/Hide Toggle: You can control whether the Subtitle is visible to customers by using the toggle option.

Note: Once you have filled in these settings, click on the Next button to proceed to the Variant
