Connecting Your Freemius Account

  • Navigate to your Jira Service Management project and open any support ticket.
  • Locate the Freemius Connector panel in the Apps section of the issue view.
  • Click Connect Freemius Account to begin the setup.
  • Enter your Freemius API Token and Plugin ID in the provided fields.
  • Click Connect Freemius — the connection will be established instantly.

Once connected, the customer’s Freemius data (such as license details, plan type, and site information) will automatically appear within Jira tickets related to your Freemius-powered plugins.

Viewing Customer Insights

  • Open any Jira ticket linked to your plugin’s support workflow.
  • In the Freemius Insights panel, you can view:
    • Customer name and email
    • Plugin name and version
    • License type and status
    • Subscription details
    • Site domain and usage data
  • This information updates in real time, ensuring support agents always have the latest customer context.
