Smart Variant Table Settings

This section controls how your variant table looks and behaves on the storefront. You can customize the text, labels, and actions shown to customers.

Text before price

  • Add a label that appears before the variant price.
  • Example: Price:

Text before quantity

  • Label displayed before the quantity input field.
  • Example: Qty:

Available stock quantity

  • Text shown when the product is in stock.
  • Example: In stock
  • Show/Hide Toggle: You can enable or disable this option to choose whether the stock status (e.g., In stock) should be displayed on the storefront.

Show variant icons? (Yes/No)

  • This setting allows you to decide whether to display icons for product variants.
  • Example: Show color swatches like red, blue, and green.
  • Yes: Variant icons will be displayed.
  • No: Variant icons will be hidden.

Show variant option title (Yes/No)

  • This setting controls whether the variant option’s name is displayed above the variants.
  • Example: “Color” or “Size” text appearing above the options.
  • Yes: The option title will be visible.
  • No: The option title will be hidden.

Custom Attributes

Add extra product or variant details by mapping a label (e.g., SKU, Vendor) to a Liquid variable. The selected data will display in the variant table automatically.

Label

  • The display name that customers will see.
  • Example: Vendor, Weight, Custom ID.

Liquid Variable
Select a Shopify product/variant attribute from the dropdown to fetch live data automatically.

Available attributes include:

  • SKU
  • Price
  • Inventory Quantity
  • Title
  • Weight
  • Barcode
  • Compare at Price
  • Product Type
  • Vendor
  • Product ID
  • Variant ID
  • Image URL
  • Handle
  • Created At
  • Updated At
  • Published At
  • Tags
  • Collections

Add Custom Field

  • It lets you add multiple rows if you want to show more than one attribute (e.g., SKU + Vendor + Published Date).

Note: This feature is only available with the Pro Plan.

Show compare price?

  • Toggle to show or hide the Compare at price on the storefront (useful for highlighting discounts).

Active for products without a variant?

  • Toggle to enable or disable the Smart Variant Table for products that have no variants (single-product items).

If the variant is not in stock?
Dropdown to define what happens when a variant is unavailable:

  • Show Out of Stock badge – Displays a badge indicating the variant is unavailable.
  • Hide Product – Completely hides the unavailable variant from the storefront.

Add to Cart button (Pro Plan required)

  • Let’s you customize the Add to Cart button text on the Smart Variant Table.
  • Example: Change Add to Cart to Buy Now or Add Item.
  • Includes a Show/Hide toggle to control button visibility on the storefront.
  • Available only on Pro Plan.

Checkout button (Pro Plan required)

  • Adds a direct Checkout button so customers can skip the cart and go straight to checkout.
  • Includes a Show/Hide toggle to enable or disable this button on product pages.
  • Available only on Pro Plan.

Custom Text Field (Standard Plan required)

  • Let’s you add a custom input field for customers (e.g., engraving or personalization).
  • The text you enter in the Text Field will be shown as the field title on the storefront.
  • Customers’ entered text will be saved with the order.
  • Includes a Show/Hide toggle.

Sticky Add to Cart (Standard Plan required)

  • Adds a sticky Add to Cart bar that stays visible as customers scroll.
  • Helps improve conversions by keeping the CTA always accessible.
  • Option to Enable/Disable.

Action After Add to Cart (Standard Plan required)

Choose what happens after a product is added to the cart:

  • Redirect to Cart Page – Takes customers directly to the cart.
  • Refresh Product Page – Reloads the current product page.

Note: Once you have filled in these settings, click on the Next button to proceed to the Rule Restrictions section.

Rule Restrictions

This section lets you control where and how the rule will be applied across your store. You can target specific products, set limits on variants, and manage quantity selection to ensure customers purchase according to your business requirements.

Total Products in Store:

Shows the total number of products currently in your store (for reference).

Rule Apply to

  • Decide which products the rule will apply to.
  • Available options in the dropdown:
  • All Products – Rule applies to every product in the store.
  • Product Type – Apply the rule only to products of a specific type (e.g., T-Shirts, Shoes).
  • Collection – Apply the rule to an entire Shopify Collection.
  • Tag – Target products with specific tags.
  • Specific Product – Apply the rule only to selected individual products.

Minimum Variants (Pro Plan required)

  • Set the minimum number of variants that must be selected before checkout.

Maximum Variants (Pro Plan required)

  • Set the maximum number of variants allowed per order under this rule.

Minimum Quantity (Pro Plan required)

  • Define the least number of items a customer must purchase.

Maximum Quantity (Pro Plan required)

  • Define the highest number of items a customer can purchase under this rule.

Quantity Selection

This section defines how product quantities will be handled in the Smart Variant Table. You can choose between Interval Mode and Bundle Mode.

Interval Mode

  • Allows customers to buy products in fixed steps.
  • Enter Interval → Enter the step size for quantity.
  • Example: If set to 2, customers can only order in multiples of 2 (2, 4, 6…).
  • If set to 1, customers can select any unit (1, 2, 3…).
  • Useful when you want to enforce minimum bulk purchases.

Bundle Mode

Let’s you create predefined bundles that customers can purchase.

Fields:

  • Name → The display name of the bundle (e.g., “Single Pack,” “Family Pack”).
  • Single Unit → Represents the base unit of the product.
  • Multiplier → The number of units included in the bundle.
  • Example: Multiplier 5 = Bundle contains 5 units.
  • Add Bundle Button → Allows you to create multiple bundle options (e.g., Single Pack = 1, Family Pack = 5, Party Pack = 10).

Note: Once you have filled in these settings, click on the Next button to proceed to the Variant Display section.

Variant Display

This section allows you to customize how product variants (like Color, Size, Material) will be displayed in the Smart Variant Table.

Available Variant Options

  • The app automatically detects all available variants for the selected product(s).
  • Example: 5 variant options found → Color, Material, Shoe Size, Size, etc.

Variant Display

  • This section controls how product variants are displayed on the storefront.

Template Type

A dropdown option to control how variants are shown to customers.

Options available:

  • List – Shows variants in a simple vertical list.
  • Swatch – Displays variants as rectangular swatches.
  • Dropdown – Shows variants in a dropdown menu.
  • Circular Swatch – Displays variants as circular swatches.
  • Square Swatch – Displays variants as square swatches.

Display Style

Controls the layout style of variants.

Options available:

  • List – Standard list layout.
  • Swatch/Grid View – Variants shown in a grid with swatches.

Note: Advanced display styles (Swatch/Grid View) require Pro Plan.

  • Click on the Save Changes.

Front-End-Impact

  • Go to the website homepage.
  • Navigate to the Catalog page.
  • Click on any Product.
  • Variants are displayed in List View Template:
  • All variants appear in a vertical list format.
  • Each variant block shows product image, price (with discount if applicable), stock status, and attributes (e.g., Color, Size, Material).
  • Customers can adjust quantity and add the specific variant directly to the cart.
