The Challenge
The LandFleet project aims to efficiently manage companies’ fleets and delivery order requests. It needs to provide features for tracking fleet movement during deliveries, generating comprehensive reports and statistics, and improving overall fleet management.
The stakeholders in the business model are the customers, vehicle and driver contractors, and LandFleet itself. The company required a consolidated platform for cohesive business operations, transactions, and tracking.
This would be achieved through a mobile application and associated web portal.
LandFleet wanted the development of a robust system to handle real-time tracking of fleet and deliveries on time.
It was important to create a user-friendly interface for easy fleet and request management.

Objects built an application that allows on-the-go and workstation administrators to manage users, fleets, and delivery requests.
The administrator dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of current status of various functions of a company’s operations. Nothing gets missed by the fleet and user controllers, and no communication gaps can occur.
Our Solution: Web & Mobile Apps
Objects developers created a comprehensive web application user interface allowing users to track deliveries, view fleet movements, and generate reports. We used the capable Symfony framework of PHP to achieve this. We defined the application URLs and associated them with specific controllers to handle user requests.
For the front end, we used Twig, to separate the logic and presentation layers. For the databases, we used Doctrine Object-Relationship Mapper. This ensures performing queries, and mapping database tables to PHP objects are flawless.
Likewise, the mobile application was developed to a high standard using Kotlin.
